Indonesia has placed two representatives who will compete in the semifinals of the Hylo Open 2023.
In the mixed doubles sector, the pair Rehan Naufal/Lisa Ayu will fight for a ticket to the final of the Hylo Open 2023.
The Rehan/Lisa pair will fight against Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Boje (Denmark) to get a ticket to the final.
The ticket to the final of the Hylo Open 2023 feels valuable for the Rehan/Lisa pair considering their status as the defending champions of the tournament.
In last year’s edition, the Rehan/Lisa duo successfully sealed the title after winning the final of the Hylo Open in Germany.
Both of them defeated mixed doubles from China Feng Yangze/Huang Dongping with a score of 21-17, 21-15 in the final.
If they are able to reach the final again, Rehan/Lisa just have to wait for the winner between Ye Hong Wei/Lee Chia Hsin (Taiwan) or Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet (Hong Kong).
Then, the second Indonesian representative was the pair Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia who fought in the women’s doubles.
The pair with second seed status will face French representatives, Margot Lambert/Anne Tran.
Final tickets are clearly the main target for Indonesia’s best women’s doubles pair.
If they qualify for the final, the Apriyani/Fadia pair will only have to face one of China’s representatives, Zhang Shu Xian/Zheng Yu or Liu Sheng Shu/Tan Ning.
