KILASRAKYAT.COM – For the satisfying results of the 2023 Italian MotoGP, Repsol Honda racer Marc Marquez doesn’t want to step on the gas immediately when the race starts.

The 2023 Italian MotoGP, which is scheduled to take place at the Mugello Circuit, Sunday (11/6/2023) at 19.00 WIB, is the momentum for Marc Marquez to end his fast of victory.

For almost 600 days, Marc Marquez has felt he has never finished first since the last time on the podium for victory at the 2021 Emilia Romagna MotoGP.

Marc Marquez starts from second position in the 2023 Italian MotoGP series. He occupies the front row with Francesco Bagnaia as pole position and Jorge Martin in third.

Reflecting from the start, the hope of the racer nicknamed The Baby Alien is to win wide open.

Moreover, the fact that in MotoGP 2023, the row of riders who won throughout the five series at the start of this season was carved not from those who started from first position, aka polesitters.

Even from Marquez’s history and experience when paving at Mugello, it’s not too bad.

Since debuting in the class of kings in 2013, the racer who is now having an affair with Gemma Pinto, has recorded one victory at the Italian grand prix.

Precisely when MotoGP 2014 took place at Mugello, Marc Marquez attributed himself to be the winner.

Even so, Marc Marquez also doesn’t want to be immediately proud of the series of capital he has.

Moreover, Mugello is a unique and tricky circuit.

Interestingly, Mugello has a track layout that tends to favor Ducati. Where Mugello has a straight track which is one of the longest in MotoGP 2023.

When it comes to speed and having to present a battle, then the Desmosedici Ducati motorbike is clearly very superior.

But in reality, since the 2002 Italian MotoGP until last season, Yamaha is still the manufacturer with the most wins.

This factor also makes Marquez quite wary.

Instead of immediately stepping on the gas when starting the race, the owner of number #93 chose to carry out a smart and careful race.

With 23 laps to go through, setting the rhythm and using the tires is crucial.

“It’s different from the sprint race, which immediately pushes the gas from the start. The main race will present 23 laps, and it’s not an easy matter in managing rhythm and using tires,” said Marc Marquez, quoted from the Motosan website.

“A racer must have the right tactics to be able to beat his opponent.”

“Aggressive for sure because that is one of the strengths that I have. But on the other hand, the sprint race yesterday gave many lessons that this track demands excellent physical aspects,” continued his older brother Alex Marquez.

“Not only directly attacking from the start, but rather being smart and wise in making decisions,” said Marc Marquez.

As an example of the result of impetuous behavior is his own sister. Alex Marquez during the sprint race session immediately pushed his motorbike to the limit.

Where the condition of the tires is not hot at all. In the end, Marc Marquez’s younger brother had a crash at turn 1 when the race had not yet reached one lap.
